Scott Eiden -- AOD

From the artist on this photograph, "Hank Williams, Georgiana, Alabama":
"I took this picture at the childhood home of Hank Williams, Sr. This was his boyhood bed, though the curtains were posthumously donated to the home (it's now a little museum/shrine). The curtains were handmade and show the lyrics and music to the song 'Your Cheatin' Heart.'  There's a really wonderful lady who tends to the home and the souvenirs and things. Also, once a year out back, they have a concert of people singing like Hank Sr."

Please note the bold line regarding the curtains. It's blowing my mind

Jams -- New Record Piles

My recent antiquing trip in the Berkshires was a hit on many levels, one of them being scoring all of these oldies but goodies on vinyl. Mmmm...nice spinning sounds. And for such $avings!!

Jams -- Tickle those Keys!

Elderly couple Fran and Marlo walked into the lobby of the Mayo Clinic for a checkup and spotted a piano. Watch 'em jam! They've been married for a whopping 62 years, and Marlo turned 90 this year.

And now, the less crazy Dylan...

I still have this photograph on my wall from when I was in middle school. I can't believe I'm seeing him live TONIGHT!!

Ps. Do you have this album? With that one song Jolene:
"Well I found out the hard way, I've had my fill
You can't find somebody with his back to a hill
Those big brown eyes, they set off a spark
When you hold me in your arms things don't look so dark
Jolene, Jolene
Baby I am the king and you're the queen"

Bob Dylan - Must Be Santa

Getting fired up for his live show tonight in NYC!!

side note: this video makes me lose my mind-- not sure if it's the reason I haven't been able to sleep for 3 days...

OLJ Press!

Thanks to all for coming out to our Bookmill show -- it was such a blast. And although I've never read a piece of press with more quotation marks in it, we were still tickled to make it in the paper!
